We aim to bring changes to the new generation. Because the old one cannot be changed. Sue always shares that she learned that change starts first with oneself, the family, and the community. Some time ago, she met a monk and he inspired her, telling her that to be a good person she needs to change her community behavior because only being a good person is not enough. She founded Hand to Hand and wants it to be a place to help others, to give a hand to each other. To be a place focused on children's and women's rights, providing education and love, so people can have the chance to have a happier, healthier, and brighter life.

For the moment, we have suspended our volunteering application process. Hopefully very soon, when traveling is safe again, and the government regulations for foreigners visiting our country are available, we will post updates and details for you to become a volunteer on one of our projects in Nyaung Shwe.

Sue, our founder, donates 15% of her business proceeds to support the Hand to Hand Charity Projects. Everything else comes from donors, sponsors, and friends from all over the world. If you wish to support us, your generous donation is deeply appreciated.
We receive donations in different ways: school supplies, school uniforms, stationaries, English and Burmese books, educational games, snacks, and food, clothes, and shoes. The financial donation is also very important and welcomes all the other expenses of the projects.
